Nadine Coyle: I'm A Celebrity 2019 star slips into pink bikini for jungle shower

Nadine Coyle, 34, stunned as she slipped into a pink bikini as she took a shower in the open on I’m A Celebrity.

The humid temperatures must make celebrities want to shower all the time, but it’s been reported certain campers have expressed worries about being “leered” over as they wash, says The Sun.

A source told the publication: “A lot of fans can’t wait to see Nadine dive into the shower but the girls are all much more reserved this year.

“They are trying to wash discreetly, away from the spotlight and several have spoken about having confidence issues.

“It doesn’t look like there will be many of those scenes the whole series, although they might have to give in in the end to get a proper wash.”

The steamy shower scenes are some of the most-talked about moments of the jungle show but now the female celebrities are fighting back.

The Mirror reported that Kate Garraway, Nadine and Jacqueline Jossa are refusing to strip down when they take public showers, following the reaction of Myleene Klass back in 2006.

Although taking a stand, the former Girls Aloud star still looked sensational in her pretty bikini as she sat alongside the equally divine Kate and Jacqueline in their swimsuits, while they lapped up the sweltering Australian sun.

They were joined by the boys who also took to the showers to cool off in the humid weather.

And it wasn’t long before viewers jumped on Twitter to share their thoughts on the topless boys.

One user wrote: “Dear ITV. WHERE is the footage of Myles Stephenson in the shower please? Asking for myself.”

Another questioned: “Can Roman or Myles test out the jungle shower I think it’s broke?”

“Can Myles complain he smells then he might realise he needs a shower?” A third pleaded.

While one viewer pointed out: “It’s day 4 and were still waiting for the Roman Kemp shower scene.”

England rugby star James Haskell was the first to take the plunge this series, followed shortly by Caitlyn Jenner.

The waterfall scenes have become somewhat “iconic” as viewers look forward to seeing their favourite celebs in their swimsuits.

But as we push towards a more equal society, it seems those raunchy shower scenes viewers witnessed years before are over.

Scriptwriter Mark Busk-Cowley, who has worked on the show since 2002, told the Sun: “If you’ve got a hot bod, there’s nothing like wandering around the jungle in a bikini to win some votes.

“The younger celebrities are well aware of this and, more often than not, it’s when evictions are on that the clothes come off.

“The moment those phone lines open, you’ll find our sexy young things diving into the pool or heading off to the shower for the third time that day.”

It looks like the girls this year are standing their ground and will rely on good old-fashioned humour and determination to become Queen of the jungle – good on them!

I’m A Celebrity continues nightly a 9pm on ITV.
