Loose Women star Nadia Sawalha, 55, and her long-term husband Mark Adderley enjoyed their first meal out together in four months, as lockdown measures eased last weekend, allowing Britons to visit pubs and restaurants at a social distance.
Nadia gave fans an insight into her date night with her spouse on Instagram, telling fans she was feeling a “bit merry”.
The presenter shared a 15-minute video of her and her husband in the car together as they ventured out for a meal.
She captioned the clip: “Super Saturday date night with @mark_adderley!
“I’ve got a wee bit Merry by accident!

“So excited to indulge in a little romance eat someone else’s food after three months of eating my own grub!! What are you up to tonight?”
Many of Nadia’s fans wished the pair a nice evening, but one fan queried why she was out after previously admitting she was worried about infecting her parents with coronavirus.
The fan wrote: “I don’t understand how you went out as soon as restaurants opened when you said you are worried about infecting your parents etc.”
Hitting back, Nadia replied: “Because as even the government and desperate workers have all said – we all need to do our bit to get the economy moving again.”
The former EastEnders star also gave fans an insight into her date night on the pair’s YouTube vlog.
After enjoying a meal, she said she was going to be “abstemious” with what she eats, moving forward.
“I am going to be very abstemious, because I have loved feeling healthier, exercising more, drinking less, eating less,” she divulged.
He chimed in: “Everyone’s trying to lose their lockdown gut.”
