N-SYNC’s Joey Fatone SPLITS his trousers live on television as he appears as a guest judge on Dancing With The Stars

FORMER NSYNC singer Joey Fatone suffered an unfortunate mishap as he danced in the opening number to Monday’s Dancing With The Stars.

The 42-year-old, who came second on DWTS in 2007, split his trousers as he attacked a leap across the studio with a little too much gusto.

The Bye Bye Bye singer tore up his pants mid-air during a jump, as he performed to Tearing Up My Heart to kick off the boy and girl band themed episode.

At the end of the dance, co-host Erin Andrews asked how he did not split his pants, but Fatone admitted that he had and saw the funny side.

“Oh, it is!” Fatone joked.

He was reminded of the incident as he took his place on the judging panel to pass comment on James Van Der Beek’s dance.
