Myles Stephenson looks like a lad ready to get home as he checks out of I’m A Celebrity with Andy Whyment

Myles Stephenson and Andy Whyment are the latest celebrities to leave Australia

As the once happy campers prepare to trudge back to the bitter cold of Blighty, Myles Stephenson and Andy Whyment look like two lads ready to get back to normality.

And their comfortable beds.

Having dusted off the green ants and with their mosquito bites on the mend, the two men – who competed in this year’s I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! – looked chuffed to be flying out of Brisbane and ready to reunite with loved ones back home.

We don’t think those smiles are going to be quite to beaming once they hit the half-way mark of that ghastly 24-hour flight.

Oh, who are we kidding – they’ll be up the pointy end of the plane, reclining, sipping champagne, watching Hustlers. We’re kind of jealous.

Andy, who came runner up in Sunday night’s finale, which saw Jacqueline Jossa take the jungle crown, flung a small bag over his shoulder as he walked through the terminal with the Rak-Su member Myles, as he prepared to head back to his day job on Coronation Street.

No, this knicker packer isn’t letting the popularity and prize of second place get in the way of what he loves doing best on Corrie.

In an interview with The Mirror, Andy recently said: ‘Coronation Street has been loyal to me and I am loyal to them. I’m looking forward to going back and doing my real job. As long as Coronation Street want me there I will be there. Even now sometimes when I drive up to the gates I still get a massive buzz driving into Coronation Street.

‘I might be in work next week. We’ve got filming next week. We break up on the 20th for two weeks. I’m looking forward to getting back and just getting into my normal boring life of just sitting on the sofa, getting home from work, closing the front door and watching telly.

‘Corrie’s on series link, yeah, so I’ll be catching up on Corrie. I always do.’

Myles had previously taken to social media to reminisce on his time in the jungle, after was booted on day 17 in 7th place.

‘I can’t believe it’s over… What an amazing experience! I’m gonna miss my jungle family so much!’ he wrote on Instagram alongside a series of photos with his bush pals, including a selfie with Andy.

‘Thank you again for all the love and support over the past 3 weeks & congratulations to my little sis @jacjossa Queen of the Jungle.’

While he was in the jungle he was blissfully blind to the drama on the outside, after ex-girlfriend Gabby Allen claimed he cheated on her – something which he has vehemently denied multiple times.

So while he might have dodged the palaver of his former love life while in the jungle he’s still flying back with a smile on his face after Caitlyn Jenner insisted she’d be setting the performer up with her model daughter Kendall Jenner.

While we have no idea what Kendall thinks of this arrangement, after Myles mused over the famous face in the jungle we can only imagine he’s thriving at the prospect.

Enjoy your first home-cooked meals, men – we promise you won’t have to have any spiders and/or fish guts poured on you to earn that nosh, too.
