Myleene Klass has been keeping the kids entertained with her piano lessons, and it seems the little ones are learning from the best.

The musician has been showing off her skills and passing them on to kids around the world as the UK goes into lockdown by means of her YouTube channel.

And Mia, 11, is just one of the kids being inspired by the star, being snapped away as she practiced her tunes. You got this Mia!

Monday mornings at 10am is an interactive class where kids can play along with a pan and wooden spoon, Wednesdays at 6.30pm she plays a Disney-themed lullaby for babies, and Friday at 10am is Music Klass.

Children don’t need to have their own instrument to be able to participate, though there are interactive elements with items from around the house. We’ll have the next generation of rockstars before we know it!

Myleene has joined the likes of Joe Wicks, who’s keeping kids fit with virtual PE lessons, and David Walliams, who’s been reading from his children’s books, with celebs giving parents a helping hand after the schools closed.

The 41-year-old has been homeschooling her kids, revealing to Metro.co.uk that it’s actually a ‘blessing in disguise’.

Chatting about her music lessons, she said: ‘It’s just nice to be doing something that you can give back. It’s totally free and it just keeps everybody entertained in the house and outside of it as well.’

Acknowledging that it’s a ‘blessing in disguise’, the presenter explained: ‘I think 100%. What’s so nice about this is you get to reconnect again and you don’t have the pressure to be anywhere.

‘But it brings its own set of new pressures, so, I think we’re in it together. The sad thing is music’s always been treated as one of the softer subjects. It’s always the first thing to go. It’s not seen as maths or English, it’s not seen as anything compulsory.’

She went on to say: ‘Music brings so much wellbeing, it’s so good for your mind and for your soul. So I think to be able to do these gigs and to be able to teach these lessons. Fundamentally, I think it’s massively important. I know it is for my family and I’ve definitely had that response online.’

Safe to say she’s smashing it so far!
