Long-standing Swiss organisation mYinsanity has found its main sponsor in PostFinance, the financial services division of postal service Swiss Post.
According to a release, the two parties “have a lot in store” for the grassroots esports community in the country.

PostFinance is no stranger to the industry having launched its esports experiment, which saw the institution support Swiss esports by providing training for a team for a year. It joins Swiss telecommunications company Swisscom and gaming peripheral company Logitech G as a partner of the organisation.
Adrian Gerber, Head of mYinsanity, discussed the deal in a release: “I am very happy to have won a strong partner for mYinsanity in PostFinance. Our involvement in the professional leagues of Rainbow 6 and League of Legends, which is unique in Switzerland, will benefit from this new collaboration and take us a further step towards the top! In difficult times, as they currently exist, this new partnership should also set an example for the future, change and growth of Swiss esports!”

The deal between mYinsanity and PostFinance includes a jersey sponsorship. The organisation fields rosters in a variety of titles, ranging from Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, FIFA, Rocket League, and Farming Simulator.
Ladina von Allmen, Esports Project Manager at PostFinance, added: “The promotion of a wide range of sports has a long tradition at PostFinance. Esports is demanding and in the digital age it is a matter of course for us as PostFinance that we get involved in this innovative area. With the Esports Experiment PostFinance, we broke new ground in 2018/2019 and gained exciting experience in Esports. Also in the new year we believe in the exciting field of “Esports and Gaming” and look forward to working with mYinsanity and looking forward to advancing Swiss Esports. “
Esports Insider says: PostFinance continuing to support local esports by sponsoring mYinsanity is certainly a positive. With minimal information as to what the sponsorship entails, it will be interesting to see what the two parties create in the coming months.
