IT’S A KNOCKOUT
Antonio Conte hasn’t had long to work with his new Tottenham team, but the signs of a response were certainly there on Sunday.
Spurs battled back from a goal down against Leeds to win 2-1, with the Italian whipping the North London crowd into a frenzy with his touchline antics.
Safe to say, Conte has well and truly arrived.
Now Tottenham have European action to take care of, with a trip tonight to face Slovenian side Mura.
The hosts are bottom of Group G and withou a point after four defeats, including a 5-1 pasting by the visitors in the reverse fixture.
Victory tonight for Tottenham, coupled with a Rennes triumph over Vitesse, would see them reach the knockouts with a game to spare.
With the hosts playing just for pride, Conte will expect whatever side he puts out to do the business and pick up the three points.
Kick-off is at 5.45pm and team news isn’t far away.
