Did your child get a LOL Surprise 2-in-1 Glamper van for Christmas?
If the answer was yes, then you might want to make sure they’re very careful when playing with it.
That’s because several parents have shared stories of their little ones getting into a spot of bother with the toy.
According to multiple reports, kids have been getting their fingers stuck in a hole at the bottom of the van, cutting off blood flow – and in some cases, the toy has had to be sawn in half to set the child free.
One mum, Brittney Steward issued a stark warning on Facebook to fellow parents, revealing she’d had to call the fire department to get the toy of her little one’s finger.
She wrote: “WARNING!!! Maddie just got the LOL Glamper and she decided to stick her finger in a hole at the bottom.
“The hole looks like a button. Kids like to push buttons!”
She added: “Well her finger got stuck and every slight movement caused a blood wrenching scream! The fire department came and had to take it all apart and saw it in half.
“It was pinched in there by a plastic tab, almost like a Chinese finger cuff.”
Camille Katherine’s daughter also experience a similar ordeal.
She wrote: “Warning about LOL Glamper. While using the button that she was supposed to push to open up her LOL Glamper, my daughter got her thumb stuck and was unable to remove it.
“We tried for 20 minutes without any luck and had to call our local EMS who were able to break the toy off from her.”
And these aren’t the only parents who had issued with the toy.
Chanie Zarchie Wolf’s kid was left “screaming” when they tried to free her finger from the van.
“We bought a LOL Glamper for our daughter,” she said. “She got her finger stuck and we tried for over an hour to release it.
“We tried maneuvering it and then realised it was double layer and whenever we tried to move the top layer she would scream.
“We couldn’t see what was happening with her finger inside.”
