AN INFLATABLE travel mattress with ‘safety bumpers’ for kids has won the praise of thousands of parents online.
Many have claimed it makes holidays and travelling “easier” with their children loving their “travel bed”.
The Hiccapop Inflatable Toddler Travel bed features a hollow blow up bed with raised sides.
The mattress, which can be removed, is placed inside the bed and can hold up to 310lbs (140kg) in wegith.
It measures 48 inches (4ft) long, which is more than the average height of a two-year-old child and fits standard cot sheets.
The bed is designed for kids between the ages of 18 months and 24 months, and can be inflated in 30 seconds.
Hiccapop claim: “Kids cannot sleep in adult beds before they are 24 months old, yet most outgrow a crib at 18 months.”
However, parents have claimed the $60 (£46) bed is perfect for all ages, and praised the “game-changer”.
It has nearly 1,500 five star reviews on Amazon.
One mum wrote: “The product is wonderful! My daughter loves sleeping on her ‘vacation bed’.”
A family, who took it to Disneyland, said their it stopped their four-year-old son rolling out of bed.
Another reviewer said “This is the best inflatable bed ever for children. My toddler LOVED his ‘travel bed.’
“They made travelling with our two young kids SO much easier.”
A woman claimed: “This mattress kit is game changer.”
The inflatable bed is currently sold out on the Amazon UK website, but you can buy it on the US website.
Amazon are selling similar products such as the Intex Kids travel cot for £27.85, or Hiccapop bed guard rails for £58.44.
Mums also swear by an inflatable foot rest which turns plane seats into a bed for kids.
One mum uses a £2 dog bed which she claims helps her toddler to sleep during a long-haul flight.
Airline Air New Zealand has introduced a Skycouch which lets you turn a row of seats into a bed.
