ONE of the more annoying elements of summer is having to deal with creepy-crawlies invading your home.

People have been raving about the purse-friendly product on Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK, run by money-saving mum Holly Smith.
The conversation began when one member revealed that she “no more flies” in her house after buying the screen to keep bugs away from her toddler.
She wrote: “Got this for my three-year-old daughter as she’s scared of flies when they buzz near her.
“I can honestly say it was the best £2.99 I’ve ever spent. No more flies.”

The post has since racked up over 500 comments, with a number of people responding with their own testimonials.
One commented: “We have these & they’re great. The ones on our windows have been up since last year & are still going strong. I really recommend them.”
Others said: “We got one this year and its been amazing at keeping all sorts of bugs out!” and: “I’ve been buying these for years. I love them cos I hate flies and bluebottles.”

Some even said they’d used the screen to keep bigger creatures out, with one message reading: “I’ve got these so the chickens stay out when we can have the door open.”
