CONSTANTLY nagging at your kids can get real old real quick, so one savvy mum has come up with a genius way to tell her children off without even opening her mouth.
Need to set some ground rules? Why shout and kick up a stink when you can channel your artistic skills to let your kids know exactly how peeved you are.
Mum Junkie on Facebook shared their new go-to when it comes to laying down the law and it’s got the right amount of passive aggression to get the job done.
It involves drawing angry faces on sheets of paper and laying them next to any evidence that shows kids are not doing as their told.
Whether it’s leaving dirty sinks on the floor, empty loo rolls on top of the bathroom bin or rubbish packets on the sofa – no offending item goes unmissed.
They captioned their post: “Sick of the sound of your own voice? This is my new strategy!!”
It was an instant hit with fellow mums as thousands commented and shared the post online.
“Think I might use this with my grown up children who do not know how to clean up after themselves,” said one impressed mum.
Another person commented: “Love it. I think i will have to do this too.”
A third tagged their partner and wrote: “Omg we have to do this with the kids! I fear we will spend most of our time placing them around the house tho.”
One mum predicted that her kids would get just as sassy with their pencils in return, as they added: “Faboosh that’s so funny ! I bet mine may add some other faces to it …so gona try it.”
Not everyone was convinced their kids would be onboard, as one mum commented: “My kids would walk right over this.”
Another joked: “Does it work on husbands to (sic).”
