A MUM has shared the sparkling results she achieved by washing her toddler’s clothes with a budget cleaning spray.
Rhia Wilkin, who lives in Hull, shared the incredible before and after photos after using the 89p product on the Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK.
She revealed that her youngest’s clothes are often stained because he “drools a lot” and she had struggled to find anything to shift the marks previously.
Captioning the images she wrote: “I have an almost 4-year-old with multiple additional needs he drools ALOT and I dread washing his clothes as usually chuck half away as cannot shift stain and have resorted to only buying cheap stuff …. 89p … saving a lot in time works for loads of other uses too (sic).”
The pictures show a previously yellowed T-shirt now sparkling white after using the Elbow Grease spray costing under a pound.
The product is a known favourite of the cleaning guru Mrs Hinch, aka Sophie Hinchliffe, who previously praised the degreaser saying it’s great for removing smudges from glass tables and fans have said it works wonders when cleaning the oven.
It seems other mums were equally impressed with the results achieved with the bargain spray with Rhia’s post amassing more than 2,000 likes and 1,500 comments.
Eager to try it herself one mum wrote: “I have a lot of shirts with horrible sweat stains that won’t wash out, hope this works! Thank you!”
Another commented: “I nearly bought some of this today!!! Going to give it a go.”
Meanwhile, another parent confirmed she was already a fan: “Been using this on my daughters clothes since she was a baby , now 22 years old and still using it”
The spray is currently on sale at B&M bargains for 89p along with the Elbow Grease washing up liquid.
