GENDER reveal parties are growing in popularity but one mum-to-be decided to make the announcement via her manicure.
After finding out she was expecting a little boy, the woman went for a design with footprints and a ‘B’ on her nails.
But her baby-themed talons have been roasted on Facebook, with people questioning if – and why – she paid for them, while comparing them to mouldy crisps.
Everything from the orange, white and blue colour scheme to the shaky lettering has been mocked, prompting some to jokingly ask if the baby themself painted the design.
Sharing the horrific manicure on Facebook, her pal captioned the post: “Friend of mine got her nails done when she found out she was having a baby boy.”
And she shared a screenshot of messages with the mum-to-be, where she grilled her over where she got them done, and if she paid for them.
The friend said: “The idea was cute but the execution needs help.
“I really hope you didn’t actually spend any money on those.”
The pregnant woman replied: “Well I did. Lol.”
When asked exactly where she got them done, the expectant mum replied: “A girl my friend knows.”
Hundreds of people have reacted with horror after she uploaded the nails to Facebook.
One person said: “Looking like mouldy cheese with them blue dots.”
Agreeing, someone else said: “Straight up mouldy cheese or Doritos I’m not quite sure lol.”
A third wrote: “Omg she paid for those nails?? The paint, the job, the shape, I can’t decide what I hate more.”
This person said: “They say your eyesight change when you’re pregnant but I don’t think they change that bad.”
Somebody else commented: “Chunky, lumpy, uneven, the shape.
“There is not one good thing about these nails. The colours even look stupid together.”
This person added: “Don’t ever let me get these monstrosities.”
And someone else thought: “Who did she go to a 5 year old???”
Meanwhile this bride’s engagement ring post was overshadowed by her ‘rotten’ nails.
A fellow bride-to-be was roasted over her awful manicure while showing off her ring.
And this £1 tip for getting sand off your toes will be a lifesaver for parents this summer.
