Mum shows how to make stained baby bottles look brand new using 75p tablets from Tesco


A MUM has revealed how she managed to make her discoloured baby bottles look good as new – and it only cost her 75p.

Rather than splash out and buy brand new bottles, one mum decided to try and clean her existing ones, which had yellowed over time.

After traditional cleaning methods didn’t work, she tried sterilising
tablets after someone recommended them.

Sharing a snap to Facebook group Mrs Hinch Cleaning Tips of two bottles – one which she’d cleaned using the tablets – the difference is staggering.

She said: “I have managed to salvage the colour of the
bottles by using Tesco’s own sterilising tablets.

“Thanks for the tip and here’s the results so far will soak them more.”

She picked up a 56-pack of Tesco’s own, called Fred & Flo, for just 75p.

And she revealed her method for getting her bottles sparkling again.

The mum added: “I put 2 tablets in a jug with the bottle parts and soaked them in boiling hot water freshly boiled from the kettle.

“Let it sit for hours.”
