AS parents know all too well, having to change your kids’ wet sheets in the middle of the night can be a total palaver – one that often results in your little one sleeping in your bed too.
That said, one savvy mum has revealed her simple trick for streamlining this long-winded process – and we can’t believe we never thought of it before.

Posting on her TikTok channel, American mum Katie Beanstok revealed how she layers a mattress protector over a fresh set of sheets on her child’s bed.
This way, she simply peel off the dirty sheets in the night without having to faff around looking for clean ones.
She said: “If your child wets the bed at night or leaks through [their nappies], here’s a way to make changing sheets in the night so much easier.
“So you’re going to do a double layer, with a mattress pad underneath so when they do wet the bed you only have to take away these top layers.”

What’s more, Katie even had another mattress protector underneath the fresh sheets too while her kids struggle with bed wetting.
She added: “And don’t forget to keep an extra blanket in the room too!”
Her video has racked up over 700 ‘likes’ from her followers and the trick is blowing parents’ minds.
One replied: “This is genius!”
