Mum praises £2 Wilko spray for making mattress smell fresh and lifting stains as daughter struggles with bed wetting

NOT only is it one of the toughest challenges you’ll face as a parent – but wetting the bed isn’t much fun for your little ones either.

That said, the next time your child wakes up with soiled sheets, you might just want to use this £2 Wilko spray which mums swear by for removing stains and making mattresses smell fresh again.

Posting on the Facebook group Mrs Hinch Made Me Do It, the mum explained how her one year old daughter has been regularly wetting the bed.

She wrote: “I only have one waterproof sheet so half the time she doesn’t have it on when it’s being washed or dried.”

After seeing other members of the group rave about Flash’s Traditional Bicarbonate of Soda spray, the mum decided to give it a go on her toddler’s soiled mattress – and was blown away by the results.

“I am so amazed by it,” she added. “It’s 10 times better than what it was before.”

Sharing before-and-after photos with the group’s 162,000 members, the mum raved about how well it lifted the unsightly yellow stains.

After spraying on the product, the mum simply ran a damp sponge over the worst areas to remove them.

She added: “Better than it was before, will be going over it again.

“But oh my god it smells so fresh.”
