A MUM has come up with an ingenious solution for her daughter, six, getting a sore hand from writing Christmas cards.
The smart woman has been praised for making a personalised Christmas stamp, which signs cards in her daughter’s handwriting.
The woman explained this will enable her daughter, who has hypermobile joints in her hands so she fatigues writing quickly, to get through over 80 cards for friends and family.
She wrote: “Christmas card writing hack for kids.
“I got my daughter to write the following, scanned it and made a stamp from it. Will make the Christmas card writing task so much easier.”
The mum explained that all you need to do is get a piece of paper and have your child write their message on it.
Then you scan it into the computer making sure you remove all the background, which can be achieved with the help of Photoshop.
Then she made the stamp on VistaPrint, and was able to help her daughter finish the Christmas task quickly.
She added: “They write so much at school that at home her tolerance is low.
“Last year she wrote all her cards in stages, maybe 4 per day but I wanted something easier this year as time is flying and there’s so much school stuff to do before the end of the year.
“She will still be writing the To Name on the card and the Name on the envelope. She writes about 80+ cards between friends, teachers and family.”
Many people were highly impressed with the hack, with one saying: “What a fantastic idea! Well done Mumma and thank you for sharing!!”
Another added: “Oh how I wish this was around when my 4 were in primary giving cards. Time saver lol.”
Previously, a mum-of-4 shared her huge Christmas present pile which is so big she’s cleared a cupboard for it & it took 25 rolls of paper.
We also revealed how a woman spends £360 on Christmas shopping in B&M & she’s nabbed budget bedding, festive decorations and cut-price toys.
And festive fans are already putting up their Christmas trees to cheer themselves up, but is it too early?
