Mum furious after her £3 Home Bargains Christmas Letter from Santa pack has a glaring typo on it

A MUM is raging against Home Bargains after she bought a pack of letters to Santa – only to spot a glaring typo.

She revealed she popped in to do some Christmas shopping and picked up a festive pack containing stickers, a door hanger and a letter from Santa.

After reading through the card she realised a letter 'm' was missing

But on closer inspection, she realised the £3 letter had an embarrassing spelling mistake on it.

The letter, supposedly from Father Christmas, tells children how good they’ve been all year and how their presents are nearly ready.

But at the end of letter, Santa signs off with a ‘Merry Christmas’ – but the mum spotted a letter was missing.

There is no ‘m’ in Christmas, and instead there’s just a blank space where it should be.

After picking up on the error, she posted the card on Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK to warn other parents to check theirs before buying.

She wrote: “Popped in to home bargains this morning to pick up one of the Christmas eve boxes I saw on here and had a look inside.

“Typing error on santa letter making it unusable.”

She added it “may just be a dodgy batch”.

She continued: “I could just put an M on but when paying for an item you shouldn’t have to finish the job the shop should do.

“Also not everyone may notice so was to warn other people who have bought it wouldn’t want their kids reading a letter that has a mistake on it.”

Parents have recommended she simply cover up the mistake

Fellow parents commented that kids may not notice the ‘m’ is missing, and she could cover up the mistake with a pen or stickers.

One mum suggested: “I’d just put the m on there kids won’t notice.”

Another said: “Could always just fill the M in.”

While a third added: “Get some m stickers and put them on.”
