Mum creates incredible Frozen-inspired Christmas wreath for £3.15 using bargains from eBay & B&M

WE might still have five weeks left until Christmas – but if you ask us, we’re already well into the season where it’s socially acceptable to watch Frozen on a loop.

Well if you have any Anna and Elsa superfans at home, then this mum’s DIY Frozen wreath is a total must this Christmas – and the best part is, you can bag everything you need to make it in eBay, B&M and Poundland.

After seeing local shops charging £50 for Christmas wreaths, Danielle decided to try her hand at making her own Frozen creation – and it cost her only £3.15 in total.

As well as the Frozen offering, Danielle also made a Manchester City option for her football-obsessed son – and saved herself £90 by making the two of them herself.

Sharing photos of her creations on the Facebook group Extreme Budget DIY & Life Hacks, Danielle explained: “[These can cost up to] £50 locally and I made both for under £8.”

Firstly, Danielle bought two sets of rings from eBay for £1.74 (87p each) which contain three things to make the Mickey Mouse shape.

After stringing them together with 8p B&M wire, Danielle then covered the wreaths in pretty snowflake tinsel she got in the clearance section of the shop for 10p.

In keeping with the Frozen theme, the mum – who made incredible Halloween decorations last month – then covered the wreath in the six glittery Frozen baubles she’d bought from Poundland to finish it off.

For her son’s Manchester City wreath, Danielle simply stacked the three rings one on top of each other to make a snowman shape and decorated with it football ornaments she’d bought online.

No bets for how we’ll be spending our evenings…
