When you have children, you soon find that the little ones take over every aspect of your life – and sometimes that includes hogging all the space in your bed at night and first thing in the morning.
If this is the case for you, you might want to consider taking some notes from Natalie Pavitt.
The mum-of-two recently became so fed up of fighting for space in the bed with her partner and two girls, that she decided to create a enormous bed big enough for the entire family to sleep in.
Her creation is a whopping 9ft wide and she did it all for less than £500.

Natalie shared the results of her handiwork on the Facebook group, Mrs Hinch Made Me Do It and explained how she did it.
She said: “Bed goals. No more fighting for space in our household.
“Basically we got two double divan beds with no slip mattresses and they butt up together completely flush! (Meaning no gap for anyone to fall down, you can lay on the join and not know any difference).
“We’ve used two king duvets and eight pillows plus two double sheets.”

The parent added: “Total width of the bed is 9ft. Cost us £440 including delivery rather than the £2,000 plus we got quoted for custom made! Ours even has drawers.”
Speaking to Mirror Online, Natalie went on to reveal where she got the beds from and break down the costs a little more.
“We bought the beds from Bedcentre via Amazon,” she continued. “They included the two divan bases with mattresses and headboards at £216 per bed with free delivery.”
She added that the bed “sleeps like a dream”.
Her post on Facebook quickly garnered a lot of attention, with over 1,400 people liking it and hundreds taking the time to comment.
One person said: “I am extremely jealous of this. If my bedroom was big enough I’d do this in a heartbeat.”
“I need this in my life,” proclaimed another.
A different user replied: “Me and my partner keep joking about doing this coz we sleep in different beds and have a child each but don’t have the room to do it.”
Someone else said the giant bed was “amazing” while others who didn’t have kids said they were considering making one so they had more room to share with their dogs.
A woman named Elizabeth was also impressed by the whole thing and couldn’t get over the price as she claimed she had paid £950 for a 7ft bed.
