Emilia Clarke has revealed that she is the proud owner of “the most beautiful puppy in the world.”
The Game of Thrones star, 33, excitedly introduced her new pet, a dog named Ted, to her fans as she shared a series of photos to Instagram on Tuesday (January 21).
The first snap sees Clarke proudly clutching the puppy, while the second shows the dog sticking his tongue out.
In the final shot, Clarke’s pet is reclining on a fluffy rug while gazing at a knitted dinosaur toy.
“He just can’t stop He physically. Cannot. Stop. being the MOST BEAUTIFUL PUPPY IN THE ENTIRE WORLD,” she wrote in the caption.
“Erryone [sic] meet Ted. Super Ted. My new main squeeze. Light of my goddamn life.
“Ready to fill this Instagram feed to bursting whilst still being able to leave room in a teacup.”
The actress went on to poke fun at her new lifestyle as a pet owner with some tongue-in-cheek hashtags, writing: “#goodbyesleepgoodbyecarpetsgoodbyeslippershellopoop #coshesworthit.”
The photos got the seal of approval from Clarke’s former Game of Thrones co-star Richard Madden, who commented with a heart-eyed emoji.
The Last Christmas star previously appeared as Mother of Puppies in a sketch on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert back in 2016, in a play on her Game of Thrones character Daenerys Targaryen’s nickname, Mother of Dragons.
She then helped Colbert with a special edition of his regular Rescue Dog Rescue segment in 2019, in which she introduced viewers to a line up of adorable dogs looking for good homes.
