Morrisons has slashed the price of Pimm’s to £10 a bottle making it the cheapest around

PIMM’S drinkers are in luck because Morrisons has reduced the price of 1litre bottles to just £10, making it the cheapest deal around.

The summer tipple has been discounted from £12 and the offer is available at the supermarket until next Tuesday – July 9.

You’ll need to leave the comfort of your home though as the bottles are only available in stores and not online.

Luckily, they’re up for grabs in all of Morrisons’ 494 stores across the UK. You can find your nearest one using its store locator tool.

The £2 saving may not seem like much, but the supermarket’s rivals are selling the bottles for more than £12 when they’re not discounted.

Asda, for example, usually sells the bottles for £16, but has currently discounted them to £12 as part of a rollback.

Meanwhile, Sainsbury’s and Tesco have both shaved £8 off the original £20 price tag. That’s until July 29 at Tesco while Sainsbury’s hasn’t listed an end date.

The tipple contains an alcohol by volume (ABV) of 25 per cent and is best enjoyed mixed with lemonade, mint, cucumber, orange and strawberries.

The popular tipple has been made since 1840 from a secret recipe that is only known by six people.

Summer just isn’t the same with a glass of Pimm’s in the sunshine – here’s how to make the perfect pitcher.

But keep in mind that one cheeky Pimms has MORE sugar than a Krispy Kreme ring.

Supermarkets are also selling copycat version of the popular drink, but how do they compare?
