MONSTA X has been spotted shooting a mystery project in San Pedro, Los Angeles.

The K-Pop group got together in California with the cameras rolling on a pier.

Members were seen wearing simple white shirts for the video, chatting together in between takes.

Hyungwon, Minhyuk, Wonho and Shownu were pictured together on the pier with a camera crew assembled in front of them.

The group also shot intense rain scenes later on in the day on Monday, which used some cool special effects including lighting and smoke.

Singers Wonho and Kihyun and rapper I.M. held up large black umbrellas as they filmed with a car in the driving rain.

Maybe they were off on another road trip together like their show MONSTA X in Jeju?

Fans, collectively called Monbebe, have been trying to get what the boys have been up to with some speculating that we’re getting a video for their latest English-language track LOVE U.

But the white shirts and rain make the video seem too romantic for LOVE U, which is a bit more on the naughty side.

The secret project comes after the Shoot Out singers performed in the US at the iHeartRadio Music Festival and Life Is Beautiful in Las Vegas.

The south Korean group, made up of Shownu, Wonho, Minhuk, Kihyun, Hyungwon, Joohoney and I.M., are set to perform on The Ellen Show on 25 September.

MONSTA X has previously released English language singles Play It Cool with DJ Steve Aoki, and Who Do U Love? featuring rapper French Montana.

They released their comeback albums Take 1. Are You There? in 2018 and Take 2. We Are Here earlier this year, followed by the mammoth We Are Here world tour, which included a stop at London’s Wembley Arena.
