Monsta X and Steve Aoki have a feather-filled party in carefree music video for Play It Cool

Monsta X and Steve Aoki have unveiled the music video for the English language version of their track Play It Cool.

The summery single was released earlier this month and sees the K-Pop group singing in English – and nailing it.

The carefree video, which dropped on Wednesday, sees Steve bopping along to the song in his car while the seven-member band party together and display their effortless choreography.

And we have to say we’re loving the black suits worn by the guys. Truly an all-visual group.

The original version of Play It Cool was included on Monsta X’s fourth studio album Take. 2 We Are Here, which was released in February.

The DJ and producer told Metro.co.uk of the song: ‘Recording the track was incredible because I got to work with such talented artists. Their voices and melodies and vocal performance on the track is amazing.

‘I got to work with professionals who really know how to sing the song the way it’s supposed to be sung. I really wanted this song to touch people’s hearts and minds.

‘It’s important that the performance really dives into someone’s soul. And Monsta X knew how to do that.

However he was tight-lipped over whether there were plans to team up again, explaining he doesn’t want to ‘give away any surprises too early’.

‘Right now our focus is this song,’ Steve said. Fingers crossed for a repeat performance, Monbebe…

Monsta X, made up of Shownu, Wonho, Minhyuk, Kihyun, Hyungwon, Jooheon and I.M have previously released their single Shoot Out in English.

The Alligator singers will be embarking on a huge world tour this year, taking recent albums Are You There? and We Are Here on the road.

The 19-date jaunt around the world kicks off this summer including dates in Los Angeles, New York, Atlanta, Dallas, Houston, Chicago, Sao Paulo, Melbourne, Sydney, Paris, Amsterdam, Madrid, Berlin and London.

The tour also includes two nights in Seoul, the heart of their native South Korea.
