Molly-Mae Hague steps out in huge shades and hires a bodyguard after Love Island

Love Island runner-up Molly-Mae Hague appears to have embraced the celebrity lifestyle after hiring a bodyguard just hours after landing back in the UK.

The reality star was seen wearing over-sized sunglasses that took over her face as she headed into a London hotel accompanied by a beefy-looking guard.

The 19-year-old looked emotionless and straight faced as she walked straight past photographers without making eye-contact.

She was dressed down in leggings and a white jumper, and wore her hair in her trademark bun.

It was her first appearance since landing at Stansted airport with the other finalists yesterday.

Despite finishing the show as runner-up, Molly-Mae has had to repeatedly deny faking her romance with Tommy Fury – amid claims she is bitter for not being crowed the winner.

Clearing up claims of animosity or fakeness, she and Tommy have both insisted that Amber and Greg “deserved” their victory despite only having been a couple for 12 days.

The self-proclaimed Instagram star came under fire several times on the show, with viewers convinced she had often ‘fake-cried’ and used ‘crocodile tears’ to disguise her reported true intentions – winning the prize money.

Viewers claimed her loved-up “performance” with Tommy was transparent, with some launching a campaign to ensure she would not win and get her hands on the prize money.

During the shock Love Island final on Monday night, Molly-Mae and Tommy lost out on the £50,000 prize money as Amber Gill and Greg O’Shea were announced as winners and went on to happily split the money prize.
