Molly Hocking has been crowned the winner of The Voice UK 2019.

After battling Jimmy Balito, Deana Walmsley and Bethzienna in the final on Saturday night, the singer has walked away as the winner of the ITV singing competition.

Molly’s rendition of I’ll Never Love Again saw the star win over viewers at home, as the 18-year-old walked away with the most votes – with mentor Olly Murs the first to celebrate her win.

The other judges – Jennifer Hudson, Tom Jones and Will.i.am – watched on as the Dance With Me Tonight singer rushed to congratulate Molly over her victory.

Viewers ran to social media to celebrate the singer’s win too, with many marvelling over her talent.

Molly’s first performance of the night was a rendition of Someone You Loved by Lewis Capaldi.

Later in the night, she joined her mentor Olly for a cover of Star by Simply Stars.

The singer made it to the final two with her rival Deana, thanks to the backing from her supporters watching from home.

After her performing her winner’s track I’ll Never Love Again, she was announced as the champion of the competition.

Speaking after her win, Molly appeared speechless before she said: ‘All I can say is thank you and from the bottom of my heart I am so, so shocked. I just love you all’.

Thanking Olly for his mentorship, she added: ‘I am so so glad that you stuck with me through this and you are my inspiration now. You are my inspiration’.

Her single will be available to download and stream tomorrow.
