Mino Raiola confirms Paul Pogba ‘in the process’ of leaving Man Utd amid Real Madrid links

That’s been confirmed by Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola with the Frenchman expected to leave Old Trafford this summer.

Pogba has struggled since returning to Manchester United from Juventus in 2016.

His former club are believed to be interested in re-signing the midfielder though Real Madrid appear to be leading the race.

And Raiola has confirmed that Pogba wants to move, with a transfer expected.

Raiola told The Times: “Everyone knows the willingness of Paul to move on. We are in the process of that.

“Everyone knows what the feelings of Paul are.

“Everyone within the club, from the manager to the owner, knows Paul’s wishes.”

Pogba had expressed his desire to face a new challenge after a difficult season saw Manchester United finish sixth in the Premier League.

“Like you said, there is a lot of talking and a lot of thinking as well,” he said last month.

“For me I have been for three years in Manchester and have been doing great; some good moments and some bad moments, like everybody. Like everywhere else.

“After this season and everything that happened this season, with my season being my best season as well… I think for me it could be a good time to have a new challenge somewhere else.

“I am thinking of this – to have a new challenge somewhere else.”

Real Madrid are keen on Pogba with manager Zinedine Zidane admiring his compatriot.

“I know him personally,” Zidane said. “He brings so much and there are few players who bring as much as he does.

“He’s a midfielder who knows how to defend and how to attack. But he is not my player, he is at Manchester.

“He has always said that, after Manchester, Madrid has always interested him.

“So when his experience at Manchester ends, why not come here to Madrid?”
