Millie Bobby Brown was serving pure princess vibes at the Godzilla: King of the Monsters premiere in London tonight.

The Stranger Things actress was flanked by her co-stars, Charles Dance and O’Shea Jackson Jr, on the red carpet and she couldn’t have seemed prouder to spend the evening with her leading men.

Looking much more polished than her Godzilla character Madison Russell, Millie wore a strapless beige gown with intricate embroidery for her princess moment on the red carpet.

After posing alone, the 15-year-old was joined by her co-stars as well as Godzilla director Michael Dougherty and writer Zach Shields.

Godzilla: King of the Monsters follows on from the 2014 movie and will see the cryptozoology agency Monarch face-off the monstrous Godzilla, who collides with Mothra, Rodan and the three-headed King Ghidorah.

Millie makes her debut in the blockbuster series as Madison but reveals that one particular fight scene had to be cut from the final version and, frankly, she’s gutted about it.

The British actress told Cinema Blend: ‘Oh yeah. There was this full fight montage that I had done. It was a fighting, full-on MMA on this guy, this man-guy. [It was] cool. They cut it! So bummed out about it. … By the way, I never got to see it, but I would have loved to see it, too. And I’m sure everybody else would.’

But it seems Millie was always right for the role, as director Dougherty reveals that she was cast to star in the film before she even knew it.

The filmmaker told ScreenRant: ‘Millie’s great. She was still … Season two of Stranger Things had just been shot. Not even aired yet.

‘I was a huge fan of the show and my pre-viz animators and I used her face as reference, as a model for the pre-viz for the movie before we ever cast her.’

Godzilla: King of the Monsters hits UK cinemas on 29 May.
