Miley Cyrus teams up with RuPaul and Ghostface Killah on new songs dedicated to drugs and sex

It’s no secret Miley Cyrus loves to party, but just in case you’d forgotten, she has a brand new song with Wu Tang Clan legend Ghostface Killah all about her fave drugs.

D.R.E.A.M – Drugs Rule Everything Around Me – is a introspective jam about how prevalent drugs are in her world as she sings: ‘Always last to leave the party, drugs rule everything around me.’

The track samples its inspiration, Wu Tang Clan’s C.R.E.A.M (Cash Rules Everything Around Me) and even features a member of the rap group in the outro.

This isn’t the first time Miley has been open about her drug use, having sung about ‘dancing with molly’ (ecstasy) on 2013 hit We Can’t Stop and releasing the trippy, acid-influenced 2015 mixtape Miley Cyrus & Her Dead Petz.

Let’s not forget that time she lit a joint while on stage hosting the MTV VMAs, and she’s even said Hannah Montana’s downfall was due to to ‘a lot of drugs’ while appearing as a guest judge on the opening episode of Ru Paul’s Drag Race season 11.

Speaking of Ru, the drag legend also appears on Miley’s 6-track She Is Coming album. The song, Cattitude, has gained attention for Miley’s lyrics about the beef between Cardi B and Nicki Minaj.

I love you Nicki, but I listen to Cardi,’ she raps, but that’s not the most shocking thing to come out of the track – not by far.

As you can imagine of a song featuring both Miley Cyrus and RuPaul, it’s three minutes and ten seconds of pure filth. Seriously, you have been warned.

The 26-year-old has been busy of late, what with her new album – which is the first of three installments – and appearing in a new episode of Black Mirror.

Miley will play Ashley O, an international popstar whose world is bright and sparkly on the outside, but otherwise hollow. According to Miley, the character is based on her time as Disney child star Hannah Montana so turning down the role wasn’t an option.

‘[Show runners Charlie Brooker and Annabel Jones] were like would you do this? I’m like well I kind of have no choice since you just wrote it about me so I don’t know who else you’re going to use,’ explained the Wrecking Ball singer.

‘Charlie [Brooker] wrote this episode about his take on my experience and I’m starting to think he’s got a crystal ball or was watching me from some weird creepy camera as, like, growing up in the industry… because it was so spot on.

‘Ashley O even lives in Malibu.’

Black Mirror series 5 premieres on 5 June on Netflix.
