Looks like Miley Cyrus is gearing up to release some more bangers, sharing some snaps of herself back at the recording studio on social media.
Miley shared a few shots at Swedish producer Max Martin’s recording studio on Instagram Stories and Twitter and we are ready.
‘Back in the yo! I am so f***ing inspired right now,’ Miley captioned one photo, adding two butterflies and ocean waves emojis. ‘Thank YOU NEW MOON.’
She also added a full photo of her recording look – a white T-shirt, bell-bottom jeans, boots and high ponytail.
‘Studio [boot],’ she captioned.
Miley fans understandably were very excited about the prospect of new music by the Mother’s Daughter singer.
One tweeted: ‘WHERE IS THE ALBUM WE NEED THE DAMN ALBUM’.
Other fans were keen for a specific sound from post break-up Miley.
One wrote: ‘Give us wrecking ball 2.0 PLS’.
Another tweeted: ‘Bangerz 2 pls [clapping hands]’
Then there was this suggestion: ‘Okay sis we need an entire water themed album Bc bottom of the ocean, Malibu, and slide away are your holy trinity’.
Whatever she does though we know Miley’s music is going to have no shortage of emotions after her big year.
The 26-year-old recently split up with Kaitlynn Carter and sources revealed she was never planning on being with anyone long-term so soon after her break-up with husband Liam Hemsworth.
‘Miley leaned on Kaitlynn throughout the divorce and she felt that they moved far too quickly’, a source told Entertainment Tonight.
‘Miley made the final decision to split with Kaitlynn. Her relationship with Kaitlynn is over and she wants to be on her own.’
The Can’t Stop hitmaker also recently backed a weed cafe in West Hollywood with her Nothing Breaks Like A Heart collaborator Mark Ronson.
She’s also been posting plenty of cryptic messages on her Insta of late so it is good to see her be straight-up about dropping some new tunes.
Let’s just hope we don’t have to wait too long.
