It’s a sad day for Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth who have reportedly finalised their divorce.

The stars shocked fans when they announced their split in August, just seven months after tying the knot in a romantic and intimate ceremony between the Christmas and New Year’s holiday in 2018.

Now according to TMZ, a judge has finalised Liam and Miley’s divorce after they recently agreed a settlement.

Back in December, it was reported that the pair had hashed out an agreement on how to separate via their lawyers Laura Wasser and Judith R Foreman representing Liam and Miley respectively.

It’s said that the divorce was a quick and easy process as the pair had signed a prenuptial agreement prior to their wedding, stating how they would divide their property.

The publication claims Miley will keep their pets and, as they have no children together, they were able to put the finishing touches to their agreement with no dispute.

Since their split, both have moved onto new relationships and seem to be doing well despite the end of their 10-year relationship.

Wrecking Ball singer Miley, 26, is currently dating Australian singer Cody Simpson. Things between the pair seem to be serious as they often make public declarations of their affection on social media, while Cody spent Thanksgiving with Miley’s family and seems to get on particularly well with her mother Trish Cyrus.

Down Under in his native Australia, Liam is currently dating model Gabriella Brooks and she was spotted meeting his parents on a cosy lunch date. The new couple also shared some PDA recently during a day at the beach where they were pictured sharing sweet kisses.

Despite the fact they’ve found new loves, a source has claimed Miley and Liam will ‘always love one another’.

A source told Hollywood Life: ‘They split because [Liam] realised as he got older and grew up, they weren’t having a traditional marriage and relationship and that was hard for him and it wasn’t working for Miley, either.

‘They both really wanted to live their lives differently.’
