Miley Cyrus and Cody Simpson’s new relationship has got the approval of both of their mothers, who told fans that seeing the couple so happy makes them happy.
The couple, who have been dating since the start of October, got together after Miley called off her marriage to Liam Hemsworth and briefly dated Kaitlynn Carter.
However, it looks like both Angie Simpson and Tish Cyrus are happy that Miley and Cody are giving it a go, judging by their recent comments on social media.
Cody’s mum, Angie, posted a photo of the couple on her Instagram account, captioned: ‘Puts a smile on my dial to see you both so blissfully happy.
‘Hearing your laughs and seeing the smiles on your faces lights up my heart #happyforyouguys #beautifullsouls @codysimpson @mileycyrus’.
Miley’s mum, Tish, commented: ‘Puts a smile on my face too @angiemsimpson love you my sweet friend’.
The couple have made no secret of their relationship, regularly posting photos of them kissing on social media, since starting to date just a couple of weeks ago.
Miley, 26, and Cody, 22, were first spotted together on 3 October, when onlookers saw them kissing in a restaurant in Los Angeles.
The Wrecking Ball star had split from Liam after eight months of marriage in August, and had a brief relationship with Kaitlynn Carter.
She recently hit back at criticism that she had moved on from her relationships ‘too fast’, telling her fans; ‘I know the public feels invested in my past relationship because they felt like they saw it thru from the beginning.
‘I think that’s why people have always felt so entitled over my life and how I live it because they’ve watched me grow up.’
She added: ‘But I am grown now and make choices as an adult know the truth/details/reality. I’ve never been an ‘adult’/grown a** woman experiencing this… I was in a committed relationship for almost all my teens and early 20s, with the exception of a few breaks, which usually in those times I was working my a** off with not much and R&R.
‘Get used to me dating – this is where I am at!’
