Miley Cyrus and Cody Simpson perform their own acoustic take on Kylie Jenner’s viral Rise and Shine meme

Miley Cyrus and Cody Simpson are the latest celebrities to get involved with Kylie Jenner’s Rise and Shine meme, as they decided to put their own acoustic spin on her now-famous rendition of the wake up call.

Taking to Instagram, Miley shared a video of her putting her hair up, as she sings ‘rise and shine’ to the tune of Cody’s guitar strings.

‘Your new alarm clock,’ she captioned the post.

And fans seemed to love the couple’s cover of the meme, with some even suggesting that the We Can’t Stop singer could be giving the Lip Kit queen a run for her money.

‘Make this a sample,’ one fan commented.

‘Screen recording this to make it my alarm brb,’ another said.

‘Kylie is shaking,’ a fan added.

And one very enthusiastic fan wrote in the comments: ‘Yass I’m obsessed with it, can’t stop listening to it.

The ‘Rise and Shine’ meme first came to light when Kylie shared a video to her YouTube channel of her giving fans a guided tour around the offices for her Kylie Cosmetics brand.

Toward the end of the video, the 22-year-old later heads off to wake up her one-year-old daughter, Stormi, and as she enters her bedroom, she can be heard singing ‘rise and shine’ to her.

Since then, the makeup mogul’s singing has gone viral, with fans across the world sharing it on social media, and other celebrities such as Ariana Grande getting involved.

And Kylie has even cashed in on the success of the meme with her own line of merchandise.
