Mike Bushell, 53, is currently competing on Strictly Come Dancing 2019 alongside his dance partner Katya Jones, 30. Now, the BBC Breakfast star has responded to his sister Louise Bushell who shared a cheeky throwback snap of the broadcaster.
In view of his 53,000 Twitter followers, Mike retweeted a photo of himself alongside his younger sibling.
The throwback photo showed a young Mike who sported a blue fluffy jumper with a strikingly different hairstyle.
The small-screen star responded to the post by his sibling, which read: “I can’t wait to see Mike and Katya’s Paso and Mike’s outfit for tonight! It’s got to be an improvement on his 80’s fluffy jumper @mikebreakfast. Good luck Mike and Katya.”
Mike wrote: “Ha ha love you sis. What a picture. Apart from jumper!”(sic)

Meanwhile, the Strictly star has slammed “ridiculous” and “daft” trolls over the online abuse he’s endured recently.
Following the surprise elimination of Coronation Street star Catherine Tyldesley earlier in the competition, Mike received online abuse on social media.
Speaking to the Daily Mirror, the celebrity dancer admitted he doesn’t take it seriously.
“I tried to report it but they deleted the tweet and deleted the account,” he explained
“Often you go onto these accounts and they’ve only got two followers. It’s just someone having a dig. I never for a millisecond took it seriously. No way.”
The backlash for the BBC Breakfast did not stop there after he was in the dance off for the third week in a row.
The Strictly judges unanimously opted to save Mike and Katya, which ultimately saw Viscountess Emma Weymouth and Aljaž Škorjanec get booted from the show.
Speaking about the backlash, Mike said: “Now there’s been a few saying they’re not going to watch unless I resign, but we don’t take any of that seriously. It’s ridiculous! It’s a fun show, we trust the judges.
