BBC Breakfast star Mike Bushell, 54, appeared on Strictly Come Dancing last year with Russian-born dancer Katya Jones, 30. The dancing duo sashayed their way to week eight of the competition before the pair were booted off by the judges.
The double act have since reunited for the Strictly Come Dancing Live Tour 2020 which kicks off this month.
But ahead of their first on-stage performance, Mike made an odd admission about his wedding ring on the micro-blogging site.
The sports presenter revealed he twists his ring around his marital finger three times before he begins his dance routine.
In view of his 55,000 Twitter followers, Mike wrote: Nearly time to go live in the first show of @SCD_Live_Tour and so nearly time to twist wedding ring around 3 times and think of my amazing wife @emilybushell80 before each dance. Here we go @ArenaBirmingham.”

“In the past I’ve had a checklist and it’s never got me to where I wanted to be. When I met Mike I thought, gosh you’re quite short, but he’s just so kind and warm.”
Emily then gushed: “He’s everything I never thought I’d be with, but he’s the most perfect person and we laugh every day.”
Elsewhere, Mike will be featured alongside a host of famous faces for the Strictly Live Tour which started in Birmingham yesterday.
He will be joined by Saffron and AJ Pritchard, Emma Barton and Graziano Di Prima, Catherine Tyldesley and Johannes Radebe and Karim Zeroual and Amy Dowden.
The celebrities will be joined by professional dancers Luba Mushtuk, Karen Hauer, Dianne Buswell, Joshua Keefe, Jake Leigh and Robbie Kemetoni.
Stacey will be hosting the show, while Shirley Ballas, Bruno Tonioli and Craig Revel Horwood will be on the judging panel.
The Strictly tour will come to a close in London’s O2 Arena next month.
Mike is expected to return to his normal duties on BBC Breakfast in February.
