Michelle Visage, 51, took to Instagram to film a little debate she had with her dance partner Giovanni Pernice, 29, while the pair prepared for tonight’s live show. The Strictly Come Dancing 2019 duo rowed while getting their hair and makeup done, as the RuPaul’s Drag Race judge accused Giovanni of not complimenting her enough. As Giovanni sat getting his hair perfected for his on-screen appearance, Michelle exclaimed: “Too late”, as the ballroom and Latin dancer declared in response: “You look amazing!” Sensing his partner’s disappointment, the Italian star added: “You look absolutely fantastic.”
When quizzed by OK! Magazine about who she wanted to avoid dancing with, Michelle explained: “AJ [Pritchard], because I’d have looked so silly.”
Addressing the age difference between herself and Strictly’s youngest dancer, she continued: “He’s really talented but I’d look like a cougar.”
“It feels dirty,” she jokingly added.
Michelle went on to speak out about the so-called Strictly ‘curse’, which has seen some contestants getting romantically involved with their dance partners after the show.
The TV personality insisted she “laughed” while discussing the curse with her husband David Case.
She said: “We both laughed. Dancing’s purely physical, which is sexy in itself, and I’ll be using that passion.
“But I’ve been married for nearly 23 years – it’s not on my radar.
“It’s about thinking, that was sexy, I can’t wait to try it with my husband.
“I’ll have to get him some lessons, he’s the king of dad dancing!”
