Michelle Money shares a new video with Brielle where they open up about her terrifying accident


Nearly two months after her daughter Brielle’s terrifying skateboarding accident, Michelle Money is opening up about the accident in a new video.

Money, 39, and Brielle, 15, took to Instagram on Tuesday afternoon, to address questions fans have had about the accident in a 14-minute video.

‘Q and A time with Bri❤️ We thought we would cover the most common questions Brielle gets asked! We will try to get to more of them in the next few months! This kid continues to amaze us every day! Thanks again for all the support!’ Michelle said.

Michelle began with stating it’s been seven weeks since Brielle’s skateboarding accident in late March, where she had to have fluid removed from her brain.

When asked how she was doing, Brielle admitted she’s, ‘doing so good,’ which Michelle thought was a ‘miracle’ considering how bad the accident was.

Michelle added that she has, ‘tested out of physical therapy,’ though Brielle added, ‘Now I just have occupational therapy and speech therapy.’ 

Michelle added that they would begin by, ‘explaining what actually happened,’ though Brielle admitted she doesn’t remember any of it.

‘So I was riding on my longboard, up in the mountains. I was going down a really steep hill and I went over one of the manhole sewer things,’ Brielle began.

‘From what I’ve heard, I lost my balance and fell,’ she added, while Michelle dispelled rumors that she was hit by a car.

‘She hit the cement and she hit it so hard that it pushed the brain from her right side into her left side,’ Michelle added.

Michelle helped break down the timeline as well, saying she had just left the house and it was her ‘first run’ when she fell.

‘About 15 minutes later, I had looked out my window to see if I could see her, and I saw my neighbor on the phone and I couldn’t make out what they were doing.’

Michelle’s initial thought was that maybe she fell and ‘broke her ankle, sprained her wrist, something like that,’ but when she got there, Brielle was unconscious and her neighbors were calling 911.

Michelle added that she learned through security footage that Brielle was along and unconscious for 13 minutes before her neighbors found her during their walk.

The mother added that they are ‘eternally grateful’ to the neighbors so Brielle could get the help that she needed.

Another popular question was if Brielle could remember anything while she was in a coma, and she said she couldn’t.

Even after the accident, Brielle couldn’t remember much of her time in the hospital, adding she remembered a week, but it was ‘bits and pieces.’

Still, Brielle added that she’s been, ‘improving day by day, at a really fast rate too, it’s been great.’

Michelle added that she has to have ‘two feet on the ground’ at all times and she has to ‘push pause’ on sports
