Michael McIntyre recently enjoyed a highly successful Christmas edition of his Big Show – and he continues to be in high spirits as he attended a Tottenham Hotspur vs Norwich City football match today.
And he certainly looked as if he was having the best time.
The comedian could be seen in the stands at the Premier League match in Norwich, happily smiling away among the crowds while taking snaps with fans.
We’re not sure which team he supports, but he was probably happy with the result of the match, either way, judging by that grin.
Michael, 43, has lots to smile about – his comedy variety show, Michael McIntyre’s Big Show, recently wrapped up its fifth series with a well-received Christmas special.
The special, titled Michael McIntyre’s Big Christmas, attracted 5.25 million viewers when broadcast on BBC One, becoming the fifth most-watched programme of Christmas day in the UK.
The special saw Michael give Strictly Come Dancing judge Craig Revel Horwood a rude awakening in his home as part of the Midnight Game Show segment.
The star unexpectedly showed up at Craig’s house in the middle of the night while fast asleep, waking him up to take part in a quiz.
And although Craig surprisingly managed not to unleash his sharp tongue, he did look quite terrified.
Craig’s partner, Jonathan Myring, also happened to be in on the whole thing and shook Michael’s hand as they went through the motions of the segment, even though Craig said: ‘I’ll kill you.’
And as Michael began to throw fake snow over Craig, the host said: ‘If you’d like to sit up I’ll ask you a few questions. How are you feeling?’
‘I’ll get you back,’ Craig muttered in reply.
Simply amazing.
As part of his task, Craig had to guess the ‘Ghosts of Strictly past’, by identifying who was hidden underneath a glittery sheet.
To help him out he was given clues in the form of comments and scores.
Also in the festive episode were some star guests, big surprises, and Sharon Osborne bravely handed over her phone to take part in Send To All.
