Michael Jackson’s life will be explored in a biopic from the producer of Bohemian Rhapsody… 10 years after the King Of Pop was found dead
A movie revolving around the life of the late singer Michael Jackson is in the works.
Producer Graham King known for his film Bohemian Rhapsody about Queen’s Freddie Mercury has plans to bring the biopic to life, according to Variety. The project is still in the early stages of planning and has yet to lock in a studio or distributor.
The film is set to feature a ‘sanitized’ look at the King of Pop’s life who was accused of child abuse throughout his life and in the documentary, Leaving Neverland.

John Logan has been asked to develop the script for the movie.
Both John and Graham worked close together back on their 2004 movie, The Aviator, a film about Howard Hughes played by Leonardo DiCaprio.
A spokesman for the producer confirmed the project to the outlet but could not comment any further regarding any other developing news on the project.

The Thriller singer died in June 2009 at 50 years old with the drugs anesthetic propofol and the anxiolytic lorazepam found inside his body.
He was a child star that grew up to be a world legend and later had to defend his name against accusations after her frequently had children sleeping over at his house.
Jackson paid out settlements to the allegations of sexual abuse to the children, and it has yet to be revealed if the new biopic will shed light on this sensitive subject.

On the flip side, the documentary which accused the singer of the abuse won an Emmy award for the HBO documentary and is now facing a $100 million dollar lawsuit from the Jackson estate.
Back in August, it was revealed that MTV was ‘considering’ dropping the singer’s name off of its award that carries the highest honor at its event, The Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award.
However, MTV opted out of making the change.
