Michael Jackson children: Who are Bad singer’s children? Who did he have children with?

Michael Jackson is famed for his music, starting as a young boy in the Jackson 5 with his brothers. He climbed to dizzying heights as a performer in his life, but also became a controversial figure in the music business. But did Michael Jackson have children, and who are they?

Michael Jackson has three children, two of whom are born of the same woman.

The Bad singer has two wives in his lifetime, the first of which was Elvis’ daughter Lisa Marie Presley.

Presley was with the singer for a year-and-a-half before their divorce was finalised.

Presley claimed she and Jackson spent four years in an on and off relationship in an attempt to reconcile following their divorce, but their efforts did not work as he married Debbie Rowe in 1996, and Jackson and Presley were no longer together.

Jackson married Rowe, a dermatology nurse, while he was on tour in Sydney, Australia.

The pair had met while Jackson claimed to have been being treated for vitiligo by dermatologist Arnold Klein, who became a close friend of his.

She was six months pregnant with his first child at the time, according to Randy J Taraborrelli’s book, Michael Jackson: The Magic The Madness, The Whole Story.

Their first child is Michael Joseph Jackson Jr, who is commonly known as Prince was born on February 13, 1997.

The pair also had a second child, Paris-Michael Katherine Jackson, who was born on April 3, 1998.

Jackson and Rowe divorced in 1999, but the star had full custody of the children, until in 2004 when she went back to court to reverse the decision after Jackson was subject to allegations of sexual abuse.

The pair came to a settlement, and Jackson was acquitted of the 10 charges in 2005.

Rowe has since made further comments about Jackson, after his death, when she claimed the pair never had sex, and their relationship was closer to her being his “thoroughbred.”

Speaking to a newspaper in 2009, she said: “I went to the ‘office’, which is what we called the medical clinic.

“They impregnated me. It’s just like I impregnate my mares for breeding. It was very technical.

“Just like I stick the sperm up my horse, this is what they did to me. I was his thoroughbred.”

She also said she had offered him her womb “as a gift” due to his desperation to have children.

She added: “Michael was divorced, lonely and wanted children. I was the one who said to him, ‘I will have your babies’.

“I offered him my womb it was a gift. It was something I did to keep him happy.”

In 2002, Jackson had a third child, Prince Michael Jackson II, who is nicknamed Blanket, who was believed to have been conceived by artificial insemination by an anonymous surrogate mother.

Blanket became known when Jackson held the baby over the railings of the balcony of a hotel room in Berlin, four stories above ground.

His nickname came from the fact his face was always covered when he was brought out, including in the hotel incident when Blanket was only a few months old.

Now, Paris Jackson is a model and actress who appeared on the cover of Rolling Stone in 2017, and played Nelly in the movie Gringo in 2018.

Recently, she appeared with her elder brother at an event where they paid tribute to their father.

Blanket, who is now known by his new nickname, Bigi, posts film and TV reviews on YouTube along with Prince and their cousin Taj, but is a high school student at present, and is rarely seen out in public.
