A MUM has been branded “terrible” after she shared a photo of her “filthy” car online.
Laura Mazza, who has three children, posted a snap of her backseat to Facebook to show the “reality of parenting”.
The Australian blogger – who goes by the name Mum On The Run – wanted the picture to comfort other mums worried about being “perfect”.
Captioning the snap of the her car, featuring stains on the seats and litter in the footwell, she wrote: “To all my mammas with the trashed cars, full of crumbs, toys, spilled yoghurt and broken dreams…oh and a moth, I salute you.
“To all the soon to be mamas or future mamas who say they won’t let their kids eat in their car when they’re a parent, I was once you – good luck with that!”
Following a wave of heated criticism for the snap, she added: “Perfect parents need not comment, your colleagues are already here.”
While many mums praised her for her honesty, Laura revealed in a later post that she had been left shocked by the trolling she received – including fellow social media users calling her “terrible” for allowing it to get so “filthy”.
“Bullying, competitive judgemental b*****s who will fall over each other to rip your every parenting decision to shreds,” Laura wrote.
“I’ve seen it. Every time I write anything, out they come, like wet gremlins who have been fed after midnight.”
The mum-of-three also revealed other abuse she had suffered on social media for being open about how she was raising her kids.
“I post a picture of my kid enjoying an ice cream, and I was likened to Hitler (I wish I was exaggerating), posted a picture of them eating fruit and was told I was too braggy and fake, talk about my depression and I’m a let down to my children,” she said.
“Post a picture of my body in bathers (a one piece) and my children are blessed to have a w**** of a mother.
“Then I posted a picture of a dirty car, and holy Gwyneth Kate Paltrow, I was told that I am a terrible, filthy disgusting mother who is growing up society’s generation of entitled lazy s**ts.”
Laura added that while she had been subject to nasty messages, she wants to help other mums, who are “struggling”, to know that they aren’t alone.
She concluded: “I get constant messages abusing me in my inbox. But I wake up every day with a smile and I still offer kindness. I’ll always offer kindness.
“A smile, that’s who I am, ESPECIALLY TO ANOTHER MOTHER STRUGGLING and I’m proud of that… really f*****g proud.”
