The Spice Girls reunion will go ahead after Geri Horner chose to forgive Mel B for claiming they had sex, according to reports.

In an upcoming appearance on Piers Morgan’s Life Stories, Mel B claimed the pair had a one-night stand back in the girl group’s glory days, stating ‘it just happened’.

It’s now been claimed Geri is furious with Mel for making the claims and not apologising to her afterwards, with reports stating she’s ‘more than a bit miffed’.

Speaking to The Sun, a source said: ‘Mel messaged the girls to tell them about what she had said after filming the interview, but she didn’t even say sorry.

‘She needs to do some serious grovelling to make up with Geri. This isn’t something she’s going to forget easily.

‘Mel insists its true, but Geri says she’s blown it out of all proportion and needs to keep her mouth shut.’

They also state how the incident won’t ‘derail the reunion’ but it has ‘done damage’ to their personal friendship.

The group are set to begin rehearsals next month for their upcoming tour, which won’t include Posh Spice Victoria Beckham.

Speaking to Piers Morgan on the show, Mel B said: ‘We were best friends. It just happened. Have you ever done that? Yeah and I’ve said it now. All done.’

Referring to the reaction from Geri’s husband, Christian Horner, Mel added: ‘She’s going to kill me and so’s her husband. She’s not that posh now, is she?’
