MEL B and Geri Halliwell were in a YEAR-long relationship during their Spice Girls heyday, it was claimed last night.
Scary Spice Mel’s admission the pair enjoyed a one-off romp is only part of their romantic story, according to a bombshell report.

A close pal told the Mail On Sunday: “It was in the very early days of the Spice Girls and their relationship lasted far longer than one night – it was at least 12 months.
“They deeply bought into the whole Girl Power phenomenon – they wanted to lead it.
“They felt what better way was there to do that than for girls to enjoy one another?”
Mel and Geri – aged 18 and 21 during the formation of the band, initially named Touch, in 1994 – shared a “lust at first sight”, the friend claimed.

And the “absolutely inseparable” pair regularly slept in the same bed at a house in Maidenhead, Berks, where they had been moved by music bosses.
While other bandmates – Mel C, Emma Bunton and Victoria Beckham, then Victoria Adams – visited family at the weekend, Mel B and Geri would stay at the house.
The pal added: “They were together in every sense of the word.
“They were brought together through the circumstances of being in the band but their living arrangements in Maidenhead meant that they had lots of time alone.
“Both were very open-minded young women and they wanted to break boundaries.”
The latest revelations will further threaten the Spice Girls planned tour – which is already in disarray.
Geri, now Geri Horner, has been “ghosting” Mel, 43 — refusing to respond to texts or calls.
Sporty Spice Mel C, 45, is threatening to pull out of proposed Australian dates.
And Posh Spice Victoria Beckham, 44, is now boycotting the shows after saying she would attend.
Mel B said in an interview with Piers Morgan — as Mel C sat in the audience — that she and Ginger Spice Geri had romped.

A source told The Sun On Sunday: “The girls are due to start rehearsals next month, but the whole thing is in chaos.
“Geri is silently seething about Mel’s indiscreet admission and has ghosted her.
“She’s not replied to any of her messages and is properly sulking.
“Mel C is unhappy too as she felt put on the spot, and publicly humiliated.
“She simply doesn’t want the drama of it all.”
In the same interview Mel B also described Posh as “a bit of a bitch”.
The source added: “Victoria doesn’t want anything to do with this reunion malarkey.
“It’s exactly this sort of nonsense she wanted no part of.”
The tour is due to kick off on May 24 in Dublin.
