Meghan Trainor's bizarre claim she is left 'physically ill' without her husband

Meghan Trainor has claimed she is left feeling sick whenever she is without her husband at her side – even when he leaves her to simply take a shower.

The 26-year-old The Voice coach has been married to Sky Kids actor Daryl Sabara, 27, for one year – and seems to have taken the “til death do us part” vow of their marriage possibly a little too literally.

Speaking to The Sun on Sunday’s Fabulous magazine, the All About That Bass star gave a gushing tribute to her husband – who joined her for the interview.

Gazing into each others’ eyes (as a journalist sat beside them), Megs explained that she can barely bear to be apart from her husband for even a few minutes at a time.

“We’re so lame. Even if he has to go and take a shower, I’ll be like: ‘I miss you!’” she said.

“I feel physically ill when he leaves the room. The day just sucks when he’s not there and when we finally get together at the end of the day we’re like: ‘That was sooo extra difficult. I just miss you so much!’” she gushed.

“He’s the only human being that I could be trapped in a room with, with nothing but white walls and still have the best time,” she added.

While Meghan is clearly still head over heels in love with her husband of one year, the star had almost reached her limit before she met the American actor.

Back in March 2018, the singer explained she was so devastated to be single that she would break down in tears – before she met the love of her life one week later.

“I remember I was crying in an Uber on my way home. There was a scream and I thought “Where is he? I know he’s here,” Meghan said during an appearance on Lorraine.

“There’s this saying that you speak to the universe and you get what you wish for. A week later my friend set me up on a blind date,” she said.

Daryl proposed on Meghan’s 24th birthday on 22 December 2017  and family and friends were on hand to embrace the happy couple after their special moment.

While the pair then tied-the-knot on 22 December 2018 – having originally started dating in July 2016.
