Megan Thee Stallion made her return to Instagram Live as she opened up to fans about the incident in which she was shot in the foot earlier this month.

The rap star confirmed that she was shot in both of her feet and had to get surgery to remove the bullets.

Adding that she ‘thanks God’, the Hot Girl Summer hitmaker revealed that the bullets did not hit bones or tendons that could have caused her life-changing injuries.

Speaking through tears, she explained: ‘I was shot in both of my feet. I had to get surgery to get the s** out.

‘It was super scary, it was the worst experience of my life and it’s not funny. It was nothing to joke about.’

She continued: ‘And it’s nothing for y’all to go and make fake stories about. I didn’t put my hands on nobody. I didn’t deserve to get shot by nobody. I didn’t hurt nobody.

‘Thank God the bullet didn’t touch bones or break tendons… where the bullet hit, it missed everything. I know my mama, daddy and grandmother were looking out for me.’

She explained her silence over recent weeks as she added: ‘It’s not that I was protecting somebody. I just wasn’t ready to speak. That’s just not some s**t you get on the Internet and talk about.

‘So f**k y’all and all my fake ass friends and the blogs and their sources. This has made me realise how to move forward and how to protect my energy.’

The rapper wiped away tears as she continued: ‘Imagine being 25 and you don’t have both your parents. My mama was my best friend and I’m still not really over her death.

‘You try to fill your space with people that you think are making you happy. I thought I was ready to give good energy to other people but they weren’t ready to give good energy to me.’

She continued: ‘I feel like I was moving really fast. I was moving too fast and wasn’t taking enough time to myself. But I do feel a lot better and thank God for the people around me.’

Earlier this month, Savage rapper Megan confirmed she was shot in the foot and had to undergo surgery

Hours before the incident, she had attended a party at Kylie Jenner’s house in the Hollywood Hills alongside Canadian rapper Tory Lanez and one of her best friends.

Tory, 27, was later arrested for carrying a concealed weapon in an SUV but the details of how Megan came to be shot are still under investigation.
