Megan Barton-Hanson reveals she loves sex as Love Island babe launches raunchy mission

Gorgeous Megan, 25, has teamed up with racy retailer Ann Summers in a bid to help women get the most out of their bedroom action.

And the model reckons she’s the perfect choice to be dishing out advice. “I’d say I’m pretty good in bed,” she laughs. “I’ve had my fair share of practice!

“Sex is a massive part of my life. I’m 25, I want to find someone I can spend my life with, but sex is a huge part of a relationship to me. I love it.”

Megan is so passionate about good sex she will be a campaign director of the firm’s Pleasure Positivity Project.

Research has shown that while 95% of men climax almost every time they have sex, only 65% of women can say the same.

And it’s estimated women miss out on 1,734 orgasms in their lifetime.

“I think that’s so shocking and selfish,” says Megan, who recently revealed she is bisexual.

“And being selfish is the biggest mistake men make.

“I have experience with men and women and women are definitely better lovers.

“They are more attentive. They want to please the other person. Men are happy as long as they are having a good time.”

Megan reckons women need to be more up front with their partners and tell them what they want them to do, rather than faking it.

She adds: “I would never fake an orgasm. I’d explain: ‘Hun, you need to do this, this and this’.

“You’re not going to sleep just because you’re done.

“For me part of the enjoyment is to please the other person. I want them to have a good time too.

“I’ve always been very open about my sexuality and enjoying sex”

“It might be a bit awkward at the time but you’re better off saying it.”

During her stint on last year’s Love Island, Megan had sex with fellow Islanders Eyal Booker and Wes Nelson, ending up in a relationship with Wes until earlier this year.

But she was shocked by the reaction on the outside to her saucy antics.

She says: “I was asked if I was embarrassed, if my parents were embarrassed or if I regretted what I’d done.

“Of course not! I was in a programme about love and dating for eight weeks and I slept with two different people who I was dating. It was a massive shock to me how old-fashioned people’s views were. Men have sex in that show and no questions are asked.

“I couldn’t understand why people were so shocked about my actions.

“I’ve always been very open about my sexuality and enjoying sex.

“As women we shouldn’t be ashamed about it.

“Boys talk all the time about sex and how many women they’ve slept with and no-one bats an eyelid.”

Megan also thinks it would have been unnatural for her not to jump between the sheets in the villa.

She says: “I’ve never been in a place with so many beautiful half-naked people. Of course I’m going to have sex. It’s a big thing in a relationship. I’m not going to hold back.”

The blonde, from Southend, Essex, is also convinced this year’s Islanders are having sex – but bosses have chosen not to show it.

Several couples have been seen getting intimate in bed but none have been shown actually doing the deed.

“The fact they have completely taken the sex out is so disappointing,” says Megan, who says she fancies basketball hunk Ovie Soko out of this year’s intake.

“There’s no way they are not having sex. Especially with some of those challenges; like the stripping challenge with those little outfits.

“They definitely had sex after that.”

Megan reckons the strangest place she has had sex was a disabled toilet – once with her first boyfriend and once with Wes when they were caught romping in the loo at Southend airport. She adds: “Every time I go through that airport, I’m cringing. What am I going to do when I take my kids there?”

The sexy star’s next TV appearance is on the upcoming series of E4’s Celebs Go Dating, alongside I’m A Celeb’s Lady Colin Campbell, Towie’s Lauren Goodger, fellow Islander Jack Fincham and Blue star Lee Ryan among others.

She has been dating both men and women in her bid to find romance and last week was spotted hand-in-hand with co-star Demi Sims, sparking rumours they are an item.

It’s been reported Wes was supposed to be on the show as well until Megan threatened to quit, but she will only say: “I have nice memories of our time in the villa and he will obviously be part of my Love Island experience but now we don’t speak any more.

“In all fairness, who wants to be filming with an ex?”

She has also struck up an unlikely friendship with royal biographer Lady Colin Campbell.

Megan says: “She is such a legend and so sassy. The names she drops are mad. She’s my new best friend and she tries to mother me. Imagine if she knew about my past in stripping!”

Megan was also recently snapped snogging Clash bassist Paul Simonon’s model son Louis on a night out.

She says: “We had a little kiss but it’s nothing serious. He’s cute though! I didn’t even know who his dad was. But look at me mixing in the right circles – it’s a step up from Southend!”
