McDONALD’S is to launch a Big Mac dipping sauce — so fans can have it with nuggets and fries too.
The so-called Special Sauce, normally found only in its burgers, will be sold in dipping pots from February 12.

But the 50ml 50p pots are only available for a limited period of time — and staff are expecting bulk orders.
Fans are already planning to stock up on the pots, which McDonald’s say have a seven-day shelf life.
Electrician Martin Sadler, 46, from Great Barford, Bedfordshire, said: “I love the sauce. Normally I ask for extra in my burger, so I can then open it up and dip my chicken nuggets in it.
“Special pots are great news. If there’s no limit, I will get £20 worth.
McDonald’s said: “A limited run of the pots will go on sale and is expected to quickly sell out with restaurant staff prepped for bulk orders and big queues.
“The 50ml pots will retail for 50p each, will be available 24 hours a day, have a seven-day shelf life and when they’re gone they’re gone.”
The sauce has used the same recipe since 1972 — though it changed slightly between 1991 and 2004.
It is a mix of mayo, sweet pickle relish and yellow mustard with vinegar, garlic powder, onion powder and paprika.
The current standard sauces – ketchup, BBQ, sweet curry and sweet and sour – are 20ml and free.
Customers in Canada, Australia and New Zealand can buy it in bottles.
In 2016, one was auctioned for £65,000 for charity.
