McDonald’s is giving away FREE hot drinks worth £2 until the end of the month

MCDONALD’S fans can get their hands on a free hot drink worth up to £2 until the end of the month.

But the catch is you need to have had the My McDonald’s app and signed up to create an account before 31 December, 2019.

The fast-food chain is giving the freebie to all existing app users after shaking up its coffee loyalty scheme on January 1, 2020.

While those collecting physical stickers on Maccies coffee cups continue to get their seventh drink free after purchasing six, on the app you can now buy five cups and get the sixth free.

But while McDonald’s made the scheme more generous for app users, at the same time it wiped any digital rewards already earned.

So it’s now giving all of its app users a free hot drink whether they had no stamps saved or five stamps saved and regardless of whether they’ve ordered through the app before.

Just add the offer from the deals section of the app to your digital basket and collect the drink in store or at a drive-thru before February 1, 2020 – you don’t even need to order anything else.

The offer is available on all regular hot drinks on the McCafe menu, which normally cost between 89p and £2.09.

You can’t redeem the offer on home delivery via Uber Eats though and you must order the drink via the app.

If you don’t want to miss out on offers in future, the My McDonald’s app can be downloaded for free via Google Play or the App Store.

Check which McDonald’s is closest to you by using its online restaurant finder.

In other Maccies freebies, tomorrow you can celebrate Friday with free fries.

While on Sunday you can get FREE McMuffins.

McDonald’s is also selling tubs of Big Mac special sauce for your nuggets and fries — but only for a limited time.
