First introduced in August for seven weeks, the nuggets are a hot take on the original from Maccies that feature a spicy coating.

They also come with a Tabasco based dip for an extra kick.

However, the nugs created a divide among some fans who slammed them for being “disappointing” and having “zero spice”.

McDonald’s has confirmed to The Sun that the nuggets will use the same recipe as before, along with the Spicy Tomato dip.

Like last time, the Spicy McNuggets will cost £3.19 for six, £3.49 for nine, £4.99 for 20 – the same as regular nuggets.

Prices do vary between restaurants so check what your nearest McDonald’s is charging before you order.

At 290 calories, they do contain more calories than a box of six classic nuggets which has 259 calories.

If you’re already excited to try them, McDonald’s has 1,250 restaurants in the UK and you can find your nearest one by using the online locator tool.

McDonald’s has already tested Spicy McNuggets in the US, Asia and Australia.

That’s not the only thing that’s new to McDonald’s – the fast food chain is launching its first-ever vegan meal with dippers that taste of pesto.

McDonald’s was recently trolled by Burger King, who revealed they hid a Big Mac behind every Whopper in their 2019 ads.

This McDonald’s fan has explained how to order mayonnaise even though it’s not on the menu.
