'Mayhem' at Strathaven Airfield as top grime artist films new music video


Strathaven Airfield had an interesting guest show up this week as the cameras once again descended on the popular ‘attraction’.

London-based Grime rapper, ‘Ambush,’ came to the airfield to film his new music video for an unreleased track.

The Camden rapper had a large entourage helping to capture the perfect shots, complete with police vehicles and quad bikes.

Ambush, whose real name is Savimbi Neto, became known in the UK rap scene in 2018 when the remix to his track ‘Jumpy’, featuring Chip and Skepta, peaked at number 81 on the UK Singles Chart.

In December that year, Complex Media ranked the ‘Jumpy’ remix as the UK’s best song of 2018.

It is unknown when the new video and track filmed at Strathaven Airfield will be out.
